Lovin' Bloglovin'

I did it! After my crazy week at work, I was able with little frustration to figure out how to attach a RSS feed to my blog. 

Earlier this week, I created a Bloglovin' account. This step was pretty easy as I searched and found a few different blogs that I wanted to follow including both library and technology topics. In my current role, I will be able to use some of the ideas in the classroom. My hope is to gain some insights that will ultimately benefit me as a librarian. The next step was linking the RSS feed to my blog. I was going to an uncharted territory that I have never attempted before. I decided to search for directions on how to attach Bloglovin' to Blogger. The steps seemed reasonably simple, but as I tried them, I soon discovered that they were not. I decided to wait a couple of days until I had some more time. I did ask some fellow colleagues if they had ever attached a RSS feed in hope that would have some expertise...alas no one had used an RSS feed. So it was up to me. Today, I made my mind up to focus and get the feed attached. I again searched the "how to" and with two attempts was able to get the icon attached. I see the benefit of having these RSS feeds for ease of getting to sites that you frequently visit. Also, it should ultimately save me lots of time since everything I need will be in one location.
